This course is recommended for users of micro-UAS weighing up to 4.4 lbs.

The Unmanned Safety Institute has prepared the Small UAS Safety Ground School to provide UAS pilots and crews with an awareness of basic safety practices and promote the use of UAS technology in a responsible way. USI has adopted the traditional aviation safety approach and requires all UAS professionals to have a working understanding of safety management practices, community-based safety standards, professionalism, and crew resource management. This course is recommended for users of small UAS weighing up to 55 lbs.
